BIO About me
Some details about me and my vision
I was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1973. I moved to the United States with my family in 1977 and lived in Miami, FL for 27 years. Growing up I can remember constantly drawing pictures of war scenes, military planes, and anything science fiction. I would say television was my main influence in those days. Eventually, my work transformed into very colorful outer space scenes with graffiti style characters and alien landscapes. A lot of my work has been influenced by the artwork of Zdzislaw Beksinski, H.R. Giger, and Salvador Dali. The content of my current pieces comes mainly from endless hours of daydreaming and random thoughts of places that I’ve never seen before. Any attempt to further explain the origins of my work have usually resulted in a neverending series of artistically creative ramblings and spontaneous lies. I just paint things that I like to see and find inspiration in the actual process of creating them.
